Contract trainers were hired to facilitate training for a high-stakes system implementation. Some of the audience were reluctant to use this new tool, unhappy to come to the office for training, and technically challenged. Our solution was to create engaging training sessions with scenario-based practice. Instructor-led training allowed trainers to support learners and respond to any negativity in the room. Detailed facilitator’s guides enabled contract trainers to get up-to-speed quickly and give all teams a similar learning experience. The training was received very well by the team, and those learners requiring additional help were supported.
